For more information about LDS Church history, my first recommendation is the official Joseph Smith website, which is an authoritative source of information about the life of the Prophet. It can be accessed at www.josephsmith.net, or via www.lds.org. The website tells the story of the most important locations in Joseph's life, and associates each location with specific gospel principles applicable in daily life. I was a member of the committee that developed this information for the LDS Church. There are also many excellent books on the subject. Some of my favorites are listed below. Lastly, I have included several links on the FAQs page to authoritative sources of additional information.

I created an interactive Church history CD-ROM containing hundreds of high-resolution color photographs for use in gospel study, lessons, firesides, etc. All images from Doctrine and Covenants Revelation Sites are included on the disc. Many of these images are featured on the official Joseph Smith website. If you would like more information about the CD-ROM, click on the link below.

There are many excellent resources available online to aid in gospel study and research. Listed below are some of my favorite links. These are not official sites of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I find them edifying, interesting, informative, and particularly well done. All are free to use, like Doctrine and Covenants Revelation Sites. If you know of a particularly good link that meets these criteria, I'd welcome hearing from you.
